When diving deep into my peerās betas and projects two things crossed my mind.
Be nice, assessments are stressful and the last thing they would need is someoneās comments to come off rude and insensitive
And the second one was, āwhat would I want to hear?ā
So, I dug deep into myself, looked at the criteria and realised that sometimes you may have information and resources that others may not, so thatās what I went ahead and did.
I gave out feedback that would hopefully bring hope and some insight into what they can do to lift up their project. Because I’ve been lucky enough to work in the digital and social media sphere for a while now and so with what I’ve leant from my mates and resources I’ve been sent over time can come in handy for my peers as well.
In this Beta, Kyle is diving deep into Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and is making a video report (just like me š)
So I went right into my sources and found some stuff on nostalgia for the guy hoping it would help, because it gave me some great insight when i had a glance whilst making my project
As I stated, I’ve been working in the Social Media industry for a bit now but I’ve been a consumer of it for over 65% of my lifetime.
So when it came to Paris’ project I had some tips that even i have been using in my project and have seen some fruit from to hopefully help her out in the long run.
As i said in the comment, I haven’t even been trying when it came down to WordPress and the blog posts related to the projects and i seem to get notifications and emails about people interacting with my posts at least 3-4 times a week
And last but not at all least, We have Alex and her project.
Alex is diving into YouTube content and looking back at popular “Lets Players” and seeing how they react to certain protagonists in video games. I think this is a great topic and am really excited to see what she does but i had a little concerns when reading and watching her Beta
First thing was the time periods at when the content she is watching was uploaded, times have changed and jokes have different implications than when they did back in early YouTube, I just wanted Alex to keep that in the back of her mind when looking into these older videos and not top judge the creators of these comments
There was a part where she mentioned it was hard to find academic resources (which i 1000% agree on)but i had something lying around that would hopefully help her in the long run too
Overall, I really hope that my peers get some sort of help from what I’ve commented on their posts and I truly am excited to see what they bring to the table come the end of project time
